HARMO ELECTRIC OUTBOARD SYSTEM

You can hear a fish jump from a mile away as you glide almost silently on a glass-water lake. That’s just part of the beauty of Yamaha’s new HARMO® electric propulsion system. Pairing performance with a small carbon footprint, this lithium-ion-powered, fully electric 3.7kW outboard produces the equivalent of 9.9 horsepower, and can be used in single and twin applications. The industry’s first use of rim drive on an outboard motor, HARMO provides quiet, palpable thrust and more sustainable outboard power. You can rest easy knowing you’re treading lighter on the boating waters you love.

Our 3.7kW HARMO electric outboard system provides 227 pounds of static thrust (9.9 hp) and can be used in single and twin configurations. Its integrated digital electric steering, Helm Master® EX compatibility (in twins), and 140-degree steering angle deliver crisp response and precise steering. It can maneuver boats up to 32 feet in length in most conditions and is perfect for horsepower- or internal combustion-restricted waterways.
