Power and Performance

• RESPONSIVE POWER: It’s center-mounted 81mm electronic throttle valve is eight percent larger than the F300. Flanked by identical port and starboard intake manifolds, it creates a well-balance design, smooth air flow and responsive power.
• INCREASED COMBUSTION: A camshaft profile with a higher valve lift allows for longer opening duration for intake and exhaust. Combined with reimagined valve lifters, it creates precise clearance for increased combustion.
• MAX TORQUE: A clutch dog design, machined with more teeth, increases torque transfer from powerhead to propeller.
• CHARGING POWER: Our 4.3L V6 Offshore F350’s 70-amp alternator produces more than 30 net amps per outboard at idle—nearly double that of Yamaha’s other comparable outboards.
• MORE POWER: Iridium spark plugs work together with Yamaha’s fuel injection control mapping to produce a lengthened injector duration for more power.

Reliability & Durability

• OPTIMIZED CURRENT AND COOLING: A cowling exhaust port and stator fan keeps everything under the cowling nice and cool, maximizing available net charging power at all RPM, especially in the lower RPM ranges. The cooling effect is impactful enough to create more available current for the 4.3L V6 F350 over the 4.2L V6 F300 at all RPM.
• HOLE SHOT & ACCELERATION: Variable Camshaft Timing (VCT) boosts power and throttle response in the low- and mid-RPM ranges.
• BUILT FOR RELIABILITY: Ample oil cooler capacity in concert with Yamaha’s proven, plasma-fused sleeveless cylinder technology creates exceptional strength, reduced friction, and precise heat distribution.
• RESPONSIVE ELECTRIC STEERING: Built into the 4.3L V6 F350, digital electric steering is more responsive and precise and results in a cleaner bilge, with no pumps or hydraulic lines.
